Stripe Curtain Fabric & Stripe Upholstery Fabric

Stripe fabrics are simple ways to bring colour into a room with subtle designs that can be both traditional and contemporary dependent on the interior they are added to. Stripe materials can be used for both furniture and drapes. They are ideal for upholstering dining room chairs, armchairs, footstools, headboards and sofas as well as curtains, roman blinds and cushions. There are many popular striped fabrics like classic regency stripe that can be used to create a period interior, or a ticking stripe that can be added to a shabby chic or coastal interior; different stripes give completely different feels. Too much stripe in one room can be slightly overpowering so consider how much stripe fabric you want to use. Stripes on fabric can go vertically up the length of the fabric or horizontally across the width. If the pattern does go across the width it is known as a railroad fabric, to learn more about railroad fabrics, read our railroad fabric blog.

We always recommend that you dry clean our stripe fabrics at a specialist dry cleaners unless stated otherwise on our website.

You can buy our stripe fabrics online and in store from our fabric warehouse in Northamptonshire.
