This is an extra wide ticking fabric with the stripe woven rather than printed. It is made of 100% crisp cotton and has a traditional matt finish in a grey and white colour way.  This fabric is perfect for curtains, roman blinds or for light upholstery like bedroom chairs, dining room chairs and occasional use furniture. It is a wider than most other fabrics which is very helpful as it saves joining widths together so makes making curtains easier and is ideal for roman blinds where you don't want any seams.  It is treated with a chemical coating to reach UK mattress regulations. Read our blog on ticking for further information about ticking fabric.

We sell both fire retardant fabrics and fabrics that are not fire retardant. This fabric is not fire retardant. You could use a flame retardant barrier cloth with your chosen fabric when doing upholstery.

This ticking fabric is not feather proof.

You can buy this ticking fabric online and in store from our fabric warehouse in Northamptonshire.
