This is a soft and lush red and oatmeal wool tartan fabric. This fabric is part of our exclusive wool fabric range, it is a quality medium weight 100% wool fabric. This wool material drapes beautifully as curtains or would look great made up into a roman blind. It has a high rub test of 33,000 making it suitable for all domestic upholstery projects like sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools and other chairs. As this fabric is 100% wool it is inherently fire retardant meaning it does not need to be treated or used with an interliner to make it fire retardant for domestic use upholstery. It could also be used for cushions, lampshades and other soft furnishing projects.
Wool fabric is effortlessly luxurious with a warm and sumptuous feel that is homely and comforting and would adorn any room. Its natural qualities mean it easily fits into a room, enhancing it with a subtle vibe of opulence that is not overwhelming. The majority of wool fabrics are understated, with simple patterns, either plain, herringbone, check or tartan and so work with many interior styles.
