How to Order Made to Measure Curtains

Select Your Fabric From the Made to Measure Range

Step 1: Select your fabric from our extensive range of cottons, silks, linens, tapestries, printed fabric and more. Browse the each fabric to find the right one for your interior and use case.

Step 2: Once you’ve found your fabric - DO NOT add it to the cart.

Select ‘Curtains’ or ‘Roman Blinds’ from the intended use and complete the rail width and drop measurements before clicking ‘Choose Options’.

Step 3: After selecting ‘Choose Options’, complete the new fields to create your product.

You’ll need to supply the sizes of your pole and window. Learn how to measure the size of your window for curtains and blinds here.

You’ll also have the option to pick a heading and lining or interlining:

Type Of Heading: pencil pleat, pinch pleat or eyelet. On the pinch pleat curtains we offer a double or triple pleat option. On our eyelet headings we offer different sized and coloured eyelets to match your fabric, pole, or interiors.

Type Of Lining And Interlining - All our curtains and blinds are lined. This helps protect the fabric from sunlight damage and gives the curtains extra body. We offer blackout and thermal lining or 100% cotton sateen. If you have a particularly bright room or South facing you may want to opt for blackout and thermal lining. The price for either lining is the same.

Finally, add to cart.

Made to Measure vs Ready Made: Why Bespoke Curtains and Blinds Are Better

Made to measure curtains and blinds give designers control over their interior allowing them to achieve certain window treatments and avoid restriction. Here are our top three reasons to choose Made to Measure curtains and blinds.

1. Greater curtain and blind style and pattern combinations

Ready made curtains come in many different colours and designs but often don't give the variation of choice as much as fabric that is sold by the metre. If you find a curtain fabric that you completely love, then having it made into curtains or blinds is no problem.

2. Fit curtains and blinds perfectly in any size window or space

Ready made curtains and blinds are designed to fit certain sized windows and doors. Although some can be adjusted, this is not always possible. Made to measure curtains and blinds tailor your design to fit your windows and doors perfectly to the length and fullness you'd like.

3. Achieve a specific curtain upholstery effect or style

If you want a unique style or length then made to measure curtains are the way forward. They allow you to choose your drop to exactly where you want it, be it just under the sill, to the radiator, or to the floor.

We offer three styles of headings on our made to measure curtains; pencil pleat, pinch pleat, or eyelet. This allows you to choose a heading that works well with your room and style of fabric. If you are unsure what curtain heading to choose then read our blog on curtain headings.

Similarly, our made to measure blinds allow you to select your required measurements and a stacked option. You also have the option of picking different linings and interlinings which can be useful for tailoring your curtains and blinds to your needs like using blackout and thermal lining.
