Eyelet

Eyelets are available in four sizes to suit all curtain pole diameters, they are 25mm, 40mm, 50mm and 66mm. You should allow at least 10mm between your pole diameter and size of eyelet chosen. Eyelets are a modern style of heading.

A little tip if you are thinking of using eyelets for a bedroom – they don’t work well with blackout curtains because the light tends to shine through the holes in the eyelets.

Pencil Pleat

Pencil pleat curtains are a modern, simple style of curtain that has an elegant look. The standard pleat usually measures around three inches. Pencil pleat can be used on both tracks and poles.

Pinch Pleat

Pinch pleat is a simple yet elegant style, which should be used with a medium weight curtain in order to avoid bulkiness. In the main it comprises groups of three pleats spread across the curtain top.  The pleats are pinched together with a stitch at the base then fan out. It can also be made with groups of two pleats. Pinch pleat can be used with a track or a pole.
