Calculations For Curtains And Upholstery

If I give you my measurements can you work out how much fabric I need for curtains?

Yes, of course. Please contact our customer service team via our contact form.  We always recommend you ask your curtain maker or person doing the work as we all work slightly differently and we wouldnt want to over or under quote you. You can also read our fabric measurement guide to work out how much fabric you need for curtains.

Can you tell me how much fabric I need for my upholstery?

We advise asking the upholsterer or person doing the work for upholstery measurements. We have a rough guide of how much upholstery fabric you should need to give you an idea but please note this is a very rough guide and does not take the pattern repeat of the fabric into consideration.

Do you sell craft supplies other than craft fabric?

Yes, in our fabric warehouse we do sell lots of craft supplies as well as our craft fabric.

Curtain Make Up Or Upholstery Service

Do you make up curtains?

Yes, we do make up curtains and roman blinds.  You can order our made to measure curtains direct on our website or please contact us for further information.

Do you do upholstery?

We do not do the upholstery and only supply fabric. We cannot recommend an upholsterer and advise looking for somebody local to you.

How will my fabric be sent?

For UK customers, dependent on the size of your order, your fabric will either be sent with Royal Mail, Parcel Force or our courier, UPS. Orders overseas will be sent with Royal Mail or UPS.

Will my fabric be on a roll or folded?

Whether the fabric is sent on a roll or folded will depend on the fabric itself and the size of the order. Generally, smaller orders tend to be folded, where as larger orders of fabric will be on a roll.  If you want it sent in a specific way, please call us and we will see if this is possible.

Will I need to sign for my parcel?

Yes, the courier will ask for a signature upon delivery so please ensure somebody will be in at the address you are sending the fabric to.

What happens if I miss the courier?

If you are not in when the courier comes they will leave a card with instructions for you to follow.  If the courier is Royal Mail then the parcel is normally left at your local depot.  If the courier is UPS, they will either leave a card and attempt delivery on the next two days or will leave a card and deliver your parcel to a local access point which will require photo I.D to collect the goods. If you do not respond to this card within 5 working days, the parcel is often sent back to us and charges can occur so please contact the courier as soon as you receive the card.  If you think you have missed the courier and have not received a card please dont hesitate to contact us.

How do I track my order?

If your fabric is sent on a trackable service, we will send the tracking number to the email address you provide at time of ordering and you will be able to track your purchase with the courier.
